The 26th Canadian Paleontology Conference will be held in Calgary, Alberta—a city surrounded by great geology and paleontology. This year, the Calgary office of the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC-Calgary) has two reasons to celebrate: 2017 marks the GSC’s 175th anniversary as well as GSC Calgary’s 50th anniversary. Together with our colleagues from the Alberta Palaeontological Society, Mount Royal University, and the University of Calgary, it is our pleasure to invite you to a meeting that will both honour the past and look to the future of Canadian paleontology.
